Need to Know: The HRIS integration allows you to sync employee records, departments, and job titles from your existing HR platform directly into Workpay, eliminating the need to manually re-enter employee records when setting up payroll.
Who can use this:
Super Admins and Integration Admins on any Workpay plan that includes the Integrations module.
This is currently gated behind a feature flag, so you must contact your Account Manager to have it enabled.
Currently supported HR platforms: BambooHR, SAP SuccessFactors, Zoho People, Microsoft Dynamics HR.
Prerequisites:
You must have an active account on the HR platform you want to connect.
You must have admin access on that HR platform to generate an API key.
Your Workpay account must have at least one employment type configured for that employee’s country of residence before employees can be activated after sync.
The employee records you want to sync must already exist on the HR platform. Workpay pulls from the HR platform, so the HR platform is always the source of truth.
