Why are my transactions failing?

Know why some transactions fail and what you can do on your end to prevent them.

Transactions can fail due to various reasons. It could be a payment gateway downtime, it could be due to incorrect account information like bank names, branch codes and also using Neo-banks(Opay, Kuda, Microfinance banks, etc) which might have transaction limits.


When making a payout, ensure you have selected the correct bank name and use more of commercial banks as much as possible.

If a payment fails more than once, reach out to the finance team via [email protected] or the support team.

You can also request for a refund of the transaction so you can retry it or request for the transaction to be reprocessed.
