For security reasons, organizations can decide to protect their employees payslips with passwords to prevent a data breach in the event that it gets into the wrong hands.

As an admin, you can set up payslip protection by following the steps below:

1. Go to Settings
2. Click on Payroll
3. Click on Payslip
4. Toggle on the Security button
5. Select what you wish to be used as the password. This can either be the employee ID(This is the employee number as set on the Workpay system and it is unique to every individual) or the last 5 digits of the employee's bank details
6. Save

As an employee, if you are unsure what has been set as your payslip ID, reach out to your admin to confirm if you are to use your employee ID(Your HR can share this with you.) or the last 5 digits of your bank details.
