How to fix resolve effective date issues after multiple reviews.

A quick guide to fixing salary review issues.

If you have just reviewed an employee's salary multiple times and notice that the figures are not aligning or the effective date didn't change, there's no need to panic.

The Workpay system is designed to pick the most recent effective date. To rectify this, go to >>Payroll>>Salary rates>Salary history>>Search for the employee you wish to review>>Delete the multiple entries and leave only the desired effective date.

 



Once done, the salary rates page will reflect the most recent date left on the salary history page. You can then proceed to reprocess the employee's Payroll.
