Click on the 'Employees' on the side bar menu

Click on the Employee's profile

Go to Payroll details

Under the statutory information, click on the "Secondary Employee" checkbox

The information is updated automatically.
Effect on payroll
In Kenya, secondary employees are taxed at a flat rate of 30%. They are not eligible to any reliefs and tax exemptions (Tax, Insurance & Mortgage Relief), and pension does not reduce taxable income.
