How to upload/update gross breakdown

This breakdown illustrates the components of gross pay across different allowance categories.

Existing categories cannot be removed; however, you have the flexibility to adjust their values to zero if you prefer them not to contribute to the gross breakdown. The category names can also be changed as desired.

Also, to apply these changes to previous payroll, please change to the effective month and then convert the payroll for that month to draft before reprocessing.

To upload or update gross breakdown:

  • Click on the menu 'Settings'
  • Click on 'Payroll'

  • Switch to 'Gross Breakdown' tab
  • Select the month and year the changes should apply from, under 'Month/year'
  • Input the percentages of the gross amount as figures only in the default categories
    • Basic salary
    • Housing Allowance
    • Transport Allowance
  • Click on 'Add category' to add other allowance categories that makes up the gross pay, if applicable
  • Input the percentages of the gross amount as figures only, in the newly added categories
  • Please ensure all categories percentages add up to 100%

  • Click on 'Save Changes'
